NutriFLEX

NutriFLEX is a palatable oral joint health supplement which has been designed to give your horse the best chance of having healthy and strong bones, tendons and cartilage that can withstand the rigors that work and competition places on them.

How does it work?

By combining the proven cartilage regenerative ability of Glucosamine HCL with a carefully selected combination of complimentary nutrients, NutriFLEX aims to support the strongest and healthiest possible bones, tendons and joints.

NutriFLEX features the protection of manganese, zinc, and copper with the cartilage regeneration abilities of L-Proline, DL-Methionine and Vitamin C and the bone strengthening benefits of Boron all in a deliciously flavoured and easy to feed lucerne meal.

How is it used?

For maximum benefit to your horse NutriFLEX should be given at the maintenance dose daily. Where this is not practical, dosing should commence with the loading dose for one week followed by the maintenance does for at least one month prior to a competition  or when starting training after a spell. In cases where there is existing joint injury which requires therapy you should always consult your veterinarian.

Dose Rates:

• Horses 300kg and above: Feed a loading dose of 60g (2 heaped scoops) mixed with feed per day for the first 7 days and then 30gms (1 heaped scoop) daily.

• Horses under 300kg: Feed 30g (one heaped scoop) mixed with feed daily.

I had noticed on the other joint supplements that my horse was very stiff after being boxed at overnight shows or would often rest the leg in the paddock. He would also sometimes ‘drop’ in the hindquarters when cantering due to the ligaments around the joint not being strong since the operation.

After 2 weeks on NutriFLEX I noticed Otto wasn’t resting his hind leg in the paddock.  The following weekend he performed extremely well and took me to winning the Intermediate Rider of the Year at the Show Horse Council Horse of the Year and was also top 5 Intermediate Hack of the Year in strong competition.  After being in the box the night before at the Werribee I was expecting him to be very stiff walking out in the morning as he has been before, but to my surprise he wasn’t stiff at all.

I am also pleased to report that I find it extremely economical and pleasant to feed unlike many other supplements that have that fishy smell.

I have seen great improvements in both horses taking NutriFLEX. My stockhorse, who used to have bad swelling in front knees and couldn't handle it when the weather changed, has just about no swelling and is running around like he's 2, not 10! My standardbred, who is turning 17, is moving a lot better since being on NutriFLEX. Trust me, I'm telling everyone how great it is.

I am very happy with the changes I have seen in Blue after using NutriFLEX. I have noticed the swelling and fluid in his front joints (everyday thing for him) has decreased and his flexibility of the front joints has improved. I am getting longer, smoother extensions from him in his work and his usual "scratchy" warm up action has gone from around 10 minutes to 2-3 minutes when I first get on.
