Angus Fraser has just turned 14 and lives in Darling Downs in WA. 2016 has seen him move off his very successful jumping pony Ms Behave and onto two horses, one a young Warmblood mare bred by Top Showjumper Trevor March called Holmwood River Cent and the other an older thoroughbred former eventer called Impazzire.
Angus has had an amazing start to 2016 on his two new horses. He placed 2nd in the State Tetrathalon with Impazzire at the start of the year. He then qualified in all of his events at the State Interschool Championships in April and will heading to Sydney in September to represent WA in the Showjumping and Combined Training classes on Impazzire.
He followed this up with an amazing run at the 2016 PCAWA State Showjumping Championships where he was part of the winning Bridget Woss Team on River Cent, he won overall champion Equitation rider on River Cent, was a member of the winning team for the Senior Teams Challenge riding the 1.10m height and won the Overall Off the Track Thoroughbred Award with Impazzire.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Angus, and will be supporting him in every way possible as he works to fulfill his dream of representing Australia in showjumping.
