Makayla Wood

Makayla’s love for horses came from her mother who decided to put her, and her 2 sisters through Pony Club. Makayla started Eventing as a 12-year-old and spent the next 15 years competing all over the country, representing Australia in the YR Trans Tasman in NZ in 2012, and completing the Australian International 4* (now 5*) in 2015.

Makayla is now a dedicated coach and horse trainer: working for the WA Mounted Police as well as running her own coaching business, working with her clients 1 on 1, as well as coaching clinics all over WA. She is dedicated and motivated to educate and inspire riders of any level and ambition.

Makayla has a small team of her own horses and has been a proud user and ambassador of the Kelato brand for over 10 years.
