Sykes Family

The Sykes Family consists of Ben and Katja Sykes, their son Marcus and two daughters Jessica and Olivia. While Jessica and Olivia event and showjump, Katja still does lower-level competition and is an International Eventing Technical Delegate. Marcus has played polocrosse until 2023 on his super mare Tammy-Lynn.

Ben hardly needs an introduction as he is a world-leading EGUS authority and vet who keeps all their horses happy and healthy with his knowledge of not only gastric health but other health issues too.

Jessica is 14 and her #1 horse is Leo, with whom she has had success eventing at EvA95 level and showjumping at 105-110cm level. Their main aim is to move up to 1* later this year. She also has several other horses in work. Dr. C is Ben’s old polocrosse horse who is showjumping 90cm and eventing EvA80cm.

Olivia is 12 years old and competing at 60cm level on her horses George (Siberian) and Bondit. Her aim is to move up to 80cm later this year
