Part Two “The stress factors for Horse Digestion” with Dr Leanne Begg BVSc DipVetClinStud MS MACVSc Dip ACVIM

Managing the Equine Gut for Optimal Health and Performance: PART TWO. In this episode “The stress factors for Horse Digestion” Dr Begg takes us into some of the factors that can lead to inflammation, ulceration and what can leave the horses stomach vulnerable to acid exposure.

When it comes to the gut health of your horse getting the right advice and help is so important, especially when we suspect the digestive health of our horses is suffering. We turn to people we trust for education and help. We team up with our vets and rightly so!

So #teamKelato have teamed up with our most trusted vet Dr Leanne Begg BVSc DipVetClinStud MS MACVSc Dip ACVIM of Sydney’s Randwick Equine Centre (REC est.1951) to take us through a comprehensive educational series on Equine Digestive Health from the veterinary perspective.

In this series “Managing the Equine Gut for Optimal Health and Performance”, Dr Begg, with her extensive experience servicing the Thoroughbred racing industry and wealth of knowledge in internal medicine, gives us the veterinary view on equine digestive health, the digestive system, the stress factors for digestive health, what can go wrong, video-endoscopy and more.

Next week in episode three “Symptoms of Digestive Health Issues” Dr Begg takes us into the subtle and more obvious signs of Gastric Ulceration, Hindgut Acidosis and digestive health issues in our horses.
